Unorthodox
Unorthodox exists for people who sense that faith may be bigger than the systems built to contain it. For centuries, religious institutions have attempted to organize, define, and manage the experience of God. While many of those structures have served important purposes, they have also created assumptions that often go unquestioned. Unorthodox is a space where those assumptions can be explored, challenged, and sometimes reimagined.
At its core, Unorthodox is driven by a simple conviction: the life of God cannot be reduced to formulas, institutions, or predictable patterns. Throughout history, every generation has had to rediscover what faith looks like in its own time. That rediscovery often requires courage to ask difficult questions, rethink familiar ideas, and step beyond the boundaries of inherited religious frameworks.
The Unorthodox platform exists to foster those conversations. Through Resources such as books, courses, and curriculum, Experiences that gather people together for meaningful dialogue and exploration, and Conversations through video, audio, and written content, Unorthodox creates spaces where curiosity, faith, and honest inquiry can coexist.
This is not about tearing things down for the sake of rebellion. It is about making room for a deeper, wider, and more vibrant understanding of God, faith, and the world we inhabit. If you are comfortable with neat answers and rigid certainty, this may feel unsettling. But if you believe that the story of God is still unfolding, you may feel right at home.
